Just chat with my friends about this crazy American Idol phenomena. Anyway, first I have to indicated that American Idol is not from the states but it’s all happen here, as usual, just like Halloween! You can literally make everything into cash in this country. I have to say I love this country with it’s diversity in culture, music, art, and so damn liberal, but at the same time, I can’t help but disagree with how the pop cultures (so does the politic) affect the whole world and every country keep following the stupid productions from the states.
Maybe I am not an expert yet to explain the phenomena of American Idol and how does it impacts ones psychological development, but I am pretty sure that this is NOT a way to make your dream comes true, this is NOT a production that benefit any living human being except the upper class rich dudes. See the way they make money to create star and how many people spend their money in supporting their ‘idol’?
It is ok to watch the show, but if you are like me, you can’t help but notice the sponsor…those giant monopolies! And did the idol really make it?? Hell ya, only Kelly Claskson can hang on for a while. And Clay? All their songs are in the worst song ever list in VH1, and they keep becoming the topic of Mad TV, how pathetic?
ok then next is other countries follow the steps, even my beloved Malaysia. So what the hell is the meaning of Idol? guys, there is no guideline to be a superstar, this can happen to anyone as long as you have the luck! Why you want your talent to be humiliated in front of so many people? If you do enjoy it and for those who enjoy watching how Sam insulted all the contestant, I would suggest you rather watching Jack Ass. Jackass is entertaining, there is humiliation and insulting!
And stop copying and make something original please! Gosh, I am so sick of these shits!
